Up until a few days ago, I was fearful of the future. My life was changing and all I felt anguished. Every day I thought of the difficult road ahead, the economic limitations, time and my family. There was then someone who said to me: “If you want to change things, start with yourself. By using examples, you can teach more than by using words.” That moved me, and now, I dream of having a college degree and growing as a person.
My lack of persistence made me fail a friend. That error forced me to question my values. I was quite depressed for a while and I prayed for a new opportunity. Life smiled at me when I received the letter of acceptance to BBF. I am so thankful. BBF is the light at the end of my tunnel.
Hasta hace unos días, tenía miedo del futuro, mi vida estaba cambiando y me sentía aterrada. Todos los días pensaba en el difícil camino, las limitaciones económicas, el tiempo y mi familia. Alguien, entonces, me dijo: “Si quieres hacer un cambio, lo tienes que empezar tú.
Poniendo el ejemplo puedes enseñar más que por palabras.” Esto me conmovió y ahora sueño con graduarme con una carrera y crecer como persona. Oré por una oportunidad. La vida me sonrió de vuelta cuando me aceptaron en BBF. BBF es la luz al final de mi túnel.
