From the moment I began the process to apply for the BBF scholarship, I’ve had a great experience; though at first, I felt uncertainty about not knowing if I would be chosen. The interview and the activity, in which I met the people that would be my BBF mates, have been exciting experiences. Since I could interact with them, I thought: “I already have won for the fact of being here”, because the road is always the best part of the journey, and even though I doubted for a long time, I never felt fear about what would happen.
To be part of BBF means hope, dedication, and commitment, to me. Those three words are the base of what any student can have to see their future in the career they dream of.
The support that we are granted is pure grace, but it depends on the advantage that each of us take of every moment, and to give our best for the journey to be worth it, meaningful and to make the change we need, so that when we have achieved our dreams we can look backwards, knowing that we are now part of something ever greater: a family, the BBF family.
Desde que inicié con los trámites para solicitar la beca en BBF, he vivido una gran experiencia; aunque al principio sentí incertidumbre al no saber si sería elegida. La entrevista y la actividad en la que pude conocer a compañeros que tendré más adelante, han sido experiencias emocionantes y desde ese momento en el que tuve la oportunidad de interactuar con mis compañeros becarios pensé: “Ya he ganado con solo tener la posibilidad de asistir aquí”, porque el camino siempre suele ser lo mejor del viaje, aunque pasé mucho tiempo de duda en ningún momento sentí temor de lo que pasaría más adelante.
Ser parte de BBF para mí, significa esperanza, dedicación y compromiso; estas tres palabras son el fundamento de lo que un estudiante puede tener para ver su futuro en la carrera que sueñan tener.
El apoyo que se nos brinda es gracia pura, pero depende de nosotros aprovechar cada momento y dar todo de nuestra parte para que el camino valga la pena, para que lo que nos dieron signifique algo, sea el cambio que necesitamos; así, cuando lo hayamos logrado nuestro sueño, voltearemos atrás, sabiendo que somos parte de algo más grande, una familia, la familia BBF.
