When I became aware of the BBF scholarship, I knew it was a new opportunity to conclude my higher education and build a future.
There are no words to convey the thrill I felt when I realized I had been chosen. I read that e-mail over and over and once again.
I am infinitely grateful to you for granting us this backing because now, I can meet and get to know these marvelous people and to be part of BBF. I will be able to achieve all those goals and put into effect all those plans that seemed so removed. Now we have hope and a reason for striving.
I will wear our T-shirt “The Red” one with pride to honor it as it deserves.
It will be a marvelous experience during which coexistence, trust, mutual respect, and solidarity will become values that will distinguish us. It will change our mentality and show us that there are still people with good sentiments willing to help others.

Cuando me enteré de la beca Building Baja’s Future, supe que era una nueva oportunidad para lograr concluir mis estudios universitarios y construir un futuro.
No hay palabras para explicar la emoción que sentí al saber que fui seleccionada; no me cansaba de leer ese correo una y otra vez.
Estoy infinitamente agradecida con por brindarnos su apoyo, porque finalmente tengo esta oportunidad de poder conocer a estas maravillosas personas y ser parte de la familia BBF para poder lograr todas aquellas metas y planes que parecían lejanos, pero ahora tenemos una nueva esperanza más de seguir luchando.
Portare con orgullo y dedicación la Roja para hacerle el honor como se lo merece.
Sé que será una maravillosa experiencia donde la convivencia y la solidaridad serán valores que nos distingan, así como también la confianza y el respeto mutuo; cambiando la mentalidad de cada alumno seleccionado que en este mundo aún existen personas con buenos sentimientos hacia los demás y con el sentido de ayudar.
