To me Building Baja’s Future means study, generosity, love, trust, commitment and hope. Having been part of this wonderful family has left me great satisfaction and happiness. Here I met friends who are now my brothers and sisters. I am very happy to be surrounded by great people that have a great heart. It’s amazing how BBF has changed me and my family. Being part of BBF has given me the tools to succeed.
I have beautiful memories that have marked my life as having been accepted into the program, my first and last day in college, English and swimming lessons, beach cleanups, community service, retreat with BBF, the monthly conferences. I remember a phrase that I learned in BBF and that is now in my heart “Life is a canvas where everyone is painted and you let to the people you want to paint you”. I left myself be painted and shaped by one of the best people in this world, who is always concerned about the welfare of myself and other young cabeños, whose love and commitment to change our lives and those of our families, gives us a glimmer of hope.

Para mí,BuildingBaja’sFuture significa estudio, generosidad, amor, confianza, compromiso y esperanza. El haber sido parte de esta hermosa familia me ha dejado una enorme satisfacción y felicidad. Porque aquí conocí a mis amigos que ahora son mis hermanos. Soy muy dichosa el estar rodeada de personas magnificas y de un gran corazón. Es increíble cómo me ha cambiado mi vida y la de mi familia el formar parte de BBF ya que me ha dado las herramientas suficientes para salir adelante.
Tengo hermosos recuerdos marcados en mi memoria como: el haber sido aceptada en el programa, mi primer y último día en la universidad, las clases de inglés y natación, las limpiezas de playa, el servicio comunitario, las convivencias con mis hermanos BBF, las conferencias mensuales. Recuerdo una frase que aquí aprendí y que la llevo en mi corazón “LA VIDA ES UN CUADRO DONDE CADA QUIEN SE PINTA Y SE DEJA PINTAR POR QUIEN QUIERE”. Yo me dejé pintar por una de las mejores personas que existe en este mundo, preocupada por el bienestar mío y de los demás jóvenes cabeños, que con su amor y entrega a cambiado nuestras vidas y las de nuestras familias, dándonos una luz de esperanza.
